The Remodel Process

The Dinette

The Sleeping Areas

The Kitchenette

The camper still had all of the original upholstery and decor. Most cushions were in good condition with minimal signs of wear or damage.

The Kitchenette

I love that the kitchenette area came with a stove and sink.  Both worked perfectly. The kitchenette still had the original 2002 color palate.

The Sleeping Areas

The sleeping areas were most important to me. I wanted to maximize the comfort and enjoyability of the camping experience.

Taking it apart

Started the remodel by removing and re-arranging all the seating areas and flooring. I discovered some issues after doing this which required some extra work.

New Coat of Paint

I wanted to give the interior of the pop up a fresh look by adding brighter colors. I love the look of white cabinets, so when it was time to pick a color, white was an easy choice.

Flooring

My goal was to give the pop up a "beach" look so I decided to install flooring that resembled the color of sand. I found a color I really liked from the Style Selections Peel and Stick Vinyl Flooring

tHE fIrST Remodel

I loved the way the first remodel project looked! It was cozy and colorful and welcoming! Over the years, I've added details and decor to perfectly match the locations we've camped.

Current Updates

For our camping trip to the beach, I made a few upgrades to include new colorful cushion covers and updated to white curtains. I made the rope curtain tie backs and added some cute and super affordable beach decor. I loved how it all turned out!  𓇼

Most of our camping trips have been in the woods.  I kept the interior modern and simple. I had a hard time finding the curtains I wanted, so I repurposed some bathroom curtains and recreated the design with added accessories. They turned out perfect and the upgrade was within my budget.
